Senior Writer and Translator

MediaWatch - NGI Context
03.2007 - 12.2008

I translated articles of newspapers & magazines. In January 2008, I was promoted to Senior Writer (translator) which made me responsible for publishing articles I translate and send them directly to clients without passing by the editor. Few months later, I became in charge of translating articles under the category of "Aviation & Aerospace" which was a critical category for the company because we dealt with valuable international companies, including Airbus, Boeing, IATA, among many others.
Later, I was assigned as the deputy manager of my group/section which is responsible for translating articles under certain categories, like Aviation, NGOs, International Affairs, Hotels and others. My position helped in improving my ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines on time as I had a daily target of number of articles that I had to achieve on daily basis. I also became capable of managing work and assignments in teamwork and leading team members.
