· Technical support (advise) for the Women social affairs inclusion executive in the efforts undertaken for the institutionalization of gender with in the agriculture sector in the works of all executives

· Prepare training manuals and provide capacity building trainings of SAA, GTI, GM, Leveling tool and related for MOA executives, WEGO regional staffs and other stallholders

· Capacitating the staffs of the Directorate in performing their responsibilities by different capacity building methods.

· Support the studies and assessments conducted by WEGO and the executives to identify gender gaps in different aspects (Gender analysis, developing checklists, etc ).

· Technically support the developing and implementation of gender related materials such gender transformative manual, leveling tool, gender mainstreaming guideline, gender equality strategy at MOA, BOA, and all structures at Zonal and Woreda levels.

· Lead and coach the WE GO project to achieve its objective in ensuring to empower rural women.

· Coordinate and facilitate various types of capacity building trainings taking place at MOA, BOA and woreda and kebeles of WEGO target.

· Plan, and implement follow up support for the institutionalization of Agriculture sector Gender Equality Strategy (GESA) and other specific strategies at MOA executives, regions, woreda and kebeles.

· Coordinate with other WEGO staff at selected directorates and enforce the achievements of GESA in the given directorates and connected offices (in the BOA and the lower tiers).

· Follow, support and report community level gender transformative work of CF of WEGO target areas.

· Creating agenda and organizing the biannual meeting of the Ethiopian network for gender equality in the agriculture sector (ENGEA)

· Organizing/facilitating/ both national and international experience sharing programs

· Support data collection, organization and analysis for research, planning and decision making (data management)

· Revision of the agricultural gender equality strategy that needs to incorporate contemporary agricultural issues.

· Women friendly technology introduction and dissemination (technologies that reduce workloads of women and increase their production and productivity.

· Bring new systems/approaches to strengthen the gender mainstreaming process from the federal to the regional level, so the mainstreaming will be institutionalized.

· Document gender gaps at baselines and achievements and changes through actions and strategies implemented.

· Fund raising and resource mobilization for capacity building of rural women to enhance their production and productivity so that their livelihood will be improved

· Building and strengthening the linkage of the directorate with NGOs and donors working on agriculture and gender.

Accomplishments

In my side work and professional volunteerism, I am a founder and manager of the Lihiket youth association, which has been working on youth and women empowerment though learning by doing mechanisms. In addition, I do have a gender statistics course accomplishment certificate from STATISTICS SWEDEN

In my part time, I always prefer to learn from books which are either academic or written in my area oc occupation. I also prefer to ride my bike to and from office, even if its not easy to do it in Addis roads. regarding my walking habit, I regularly have some power walk after in evening time. In week days, I practice social time with family and friend either by disusing or conducting some volunteer activities which I always consider that is my social responsibility
