Dedicated biomedical scientist and Associate Professor with over 15 years of academic, research, and teaching experience in parasitology and infectious diseases. Published more than 66 peer-reviewed articles on medically important parasites, with expertise in molecular diagnostics, host–parasite interactions, disease epidemiology, zoonosis and One Health. Proven track record in securing research funding, mentoring graduate students, and leading collaborative projects in global health. Passionate about advancing parasitology research, strengthening institutional capacity, and contributing to the control of neglected tropical diseases through innovative, evidence-based approaches.
