I am a public health professional with over 10 years of experience in conducting research and developing interventions in the areas of behavioral health, implementation science, health communication, sexual and reproductive health, and gender. I am passionate about using research to improve the capability and practice of healthcare professionals, healthcare systems, and the health and well-being of society in general.
My research interests lie at the intersection of public health, technology, and behavior change. I am particularly interested in using digital health technologies, multichannel approaches to health delivery, and innovative ways of improving health and well-being. I have previously published my work in peer-reviewed journals, and I have presented my findings at national and international conferences.
I am a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong commitment to public health. I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary to make a significant contribution to the field of hearing rehabilitation and digital technology adoption.
Leading the organization in its overall operation and working in training and research for over twenty organizations here so far. To mention a few:
Provided lectures and training on public health courses such as Health education, nutrition, biostatistics, epidemiology, health service management, etc. Highly involved in curriculum development and policy document preparation. I worked at Central University College, Medco Bio-Medical College, Rift Valley University, etc.
As program officer, an active participant, coordinator, and event organizer on health communication and behavioral change programs /HC-BCCP which were geared at addressing HIV-related societal problems through comprehensive health communication approaches. Moreover, I actively participated and rendered my expertise in designing and producing IEC/SBCC materials such as brochures, booklets, leaflets, pamphlets, posters and billboards, videos, radio spots, etc to be able to transform various audiences’ health behavior.
