Gebrerufael Hailu Kahsay

To be a researcher and consultant in water resource development and management with particular attention to hydrogeology and to water sanitation and hygiene programs.

Over 20 Years of extensive experience in geological, Hydrogeological geophysical and engineering geological studies, drilling supervision and construction. I have been working with international and local consulting firms as counter part staff and as part time expert in Water supply and Irrigation project studies and construction. I also work as technical specialist and regional coordinator of Water Sanitation and Hygiene program, giving all necessary coordination support to regional WASH program support staff. Assuring support is provided by regional program support staff, Technical supporting group and Wereda supporting group in implementation of the wash program in general and specifically the rural water supply program. Actively participated and apply all areas of hydrogeology and engineering geology in a number of major water supply and irrigation projects. At later times involving in the academics starting as lecturer to assistant professor ranks teaching and research application of remotsensing and GIS for natural resources with focus of Water resources.
