  • Ensure there is adequate balance in the UN agencies (UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, WFP and other specialized agencies) working/program funds to meet operational cost, Make sure Direct Cash Transfers (DCTs) are done to all UN supported activates based on the treasury forecast received from the budget holders, make sure appropriate ToR &/Proposals are produced by the BH for each program activities prior advances, ensure program payments are effected against sufficient, complete, correct and relevant supporting documents along with physical report submission by BH prior FACE is dispatched to Agencies, Facilitate entire procurement process and revalidation checks, regular business visit for technical support; supportive supervision and follow ups to UN supported departments and offices, Produce monthly payroll reconciliation and match, generate monthly Bank reconciliation and take corrective actions on all the irregular transactions, list all the costs monthly under the budget code and line, check VAT is separately posted in the monthly accountancy for UN Agencies fund, ensure government withholding tax is deducted from service fees to hotels, resources or persons and pay to concerned government authority, manage that all unused cash is returned from a specific program activity is deposited in the UN account and expenditures settled as per the PIM, Prepare monthly financial report and update all budget holders for timely utilization of program funds.

  • Ensure sufficient funds are available in the dedicated account for compensation to Project Affected Peoples (PAPs), Support implementing partners such as BoEPLAU in the process of identification of PAPS, Follow up the valuation of compensation and consequent ratification of Reestablishment Action Plan (RAP) documents in line with OP of The World Bank, Disseminating RAP documents with coupons to finance departments and offices as required and their parallel implementing partners in consultation with the Ministry Office and RPCO for the grievance management
  • Played lead role in coordination of PAPS account opening in collaboration with vicinity CBE and project partners so as to make sure saving accounts are opened 'JOINTLY' with spouses until they are reestablished by the appropriate project component like Matching Grant Funds, Assist the Financial Management in RPCO and Budget holders on annual planning and make sure adequate fund balance is maintained for the ongoing operational cost, collect all post payment supporting documents for compensation and share with MoWID&/RPCO depending of the source of funding
  • Take part in the training session of the department as mentor and organizing compensation related trainings and workshops under the Project Office approval, Engage in the entire procurement process as committee member, compile periodic status report for compensation, and draw the way forward for challenges, manage excess fund and uncompensated PAPs prior handing over their property for construction purpose.
