Currently am working in Ethiopian Airline as Senior Cabin Crew starting from the date October 2021 until this date.

Duties and responsibilities of Senior Cabin Crew

• Checking new update and release on the bulletin/notice in the crew briefing room. assign crews for working positions according to their seniourity .
• Brief my colleagues about flight details, the schedule time, the number of infants on board and if there are passengers with any special care, such as diabetic passengers, passengers in wheelchair.
• Carrying out pre-flight duties, including checking the safety equipment and doing security checks, ensuring the aircraft is clean and tidy.
• Check safety equipment availability, accessibility and validity per the LOPA standard.
• Perform door preflight check.
• Check the location of crew drop down oxygen mask.
• Check the operation of the jump seat.
• Check the exit row card.
• Check the location of emergency light switch.
• Check the type of ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter).
• Check the water and waste gauge.
• Supervising the economy class cabin crew.
• Making sure all necessary service and safety equipment for the flight are loaded.
• Greeting passengers as they board and disembark.
• Showing passengers to their seats and providing special attention to certain passengers, such as the elderly or person with reduced mobility.
• Checking all seat belts and ensure that all hand luggage is secured and stowed away. Galleys are secure prior to take-off.
• Reassuring passengers are following safety procedures.
• Making announcements for the passengers.
• Demonstrating emergency equipment and safety procedures.
• Doing silent review.
• Serving meals and refreshment.
• Administering first aid, if there is any passenger who needs help.
• After landing address the ground agent for a wheelchair, if there is any passenger who needs
  assistance.
• Ensuring passengers disembark safely at the end of a flight and checking that there is no luggage left in the overhead lockers and no stowaways or suspicious items onboard.
• Debrief with colleagues about the flight.
