Acted as head of Abi Adi FU, liaising with Government authorities on issues related to issuance of personal and other relevant documentation, coordinating and lead sub regional sub-regional protection cluster and CP and GBV AOR, conduct protection consultation to GBV survivors, assess the needs of persons of concern, Promote and monitor the implementation of assistance projects, organizing and arranging capacity building trainings/workshops on PSEA, GBV and CP for community based structures, Regularly monitor the activities of the child protection project, ensure that best interest of children-at-risk is at the center of the project focus, Provide counseling on protection issues to persons of concern, Coordinate and collaborate with various service providers to ensure proper referral and services, convey, clarify and explain UNHCR role on IDPs to Government and lobby with the government to ensure the civil character of IDP Sites

promote mainstreaming of Age, Gender and Diversity (AGD) across all sectors and activities such as health, safety and security, psychosocial and legal shelter, WASH, and Energy and coordinate with Programme and Protection sections to ensure that GBV risk mitigation is incorporated in activities of partners in all sectors.

Provide technical guidance on integration of the survivor-centred approach into PSEA complaints mechanisms and enhance access of SEA survivors to existing GBV services.

Support the integration of GBV risk mitigation into the role of UNHCR staff across all sectors

Support the initial needs/gaps and capacity assessments on GBV in close coordination with any on-going joint/common assessments being conducted in the early stages of an emergency response while ensuring compliance with ethical standards for data collection related to GBV.

• Provide support to include GBV prevention and response programming in humanitarian action plans while providing guidance to other sectors for the inclusion of GBV risk mitigation into their plans.

• Contribute to the planning and monitoring for multi-sectoral GBV programming using the Results Framework and Focus in close collaboration with Programme and different sectors.

• Contribute to strengthening of GBV coordination mechanisms throughout the operation.

• Contribute to establishment and/or strengthening of new strategic and innovative partnerships for GBV both with community-based, women-led, local, national, and international organizations.

• Provide support in mapping existing services to address GBV in the various affected areas, including identifying community capacities and structures for potential partnership.

• Advocate with senior management in UNHCR and other partners, to ensure prioritization of GBV prevention and response as a life-saving response.

• Monitor GBV programs implemented by UNHCR and partners (both implementing and operational) and adjust programming as required.

• Monitor the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and global standards within all GBV programs, including GBV case management.

• Contribute to the identification of durable solutions for persons of concern through voluntary repatriation, local integration and where appropriate, resettlement.

• Conduct community awareness raising activities on onward movement, family reunification, life skills and psychosocial support through coffee discussion, peer to peer education and video displaying/telling the real story
• Plan and develop tools for ensuring that all children-at-risk are identified and supported in a comprehensive manner that reflects their best interests, particularly regarding family and alternative care arrangements Organize and arrange capacity building by undertaking child protection trainings/workshops for community members, foster families, teachers, NRC social workers, and other external stakeholders as identified Regularly monitor the activities of the child protection project, to ensure that the best interest of children-at-risk is at the centre of the project focus, as well as lobby for strong coordination between various sectors, particularly with regards to health, education, youth and livelihood sectors Ensure that the best interests procedures - Best Interest Assessment (BIA) and the Best Interest Determinations (BID) mechanisms -are used as case-management tools by NRC and data is documented and updated in a timely manner
• Supervise, support and train Social Workers in carrying out their activities

• Ensure proper and accurate record and documentation Procuring materials requested by the program for the implementation of the program objective Make sure that office reequipments'' are full and functioning Responsible for fleet management
• Receive, Register and Respond to office correspondence

• Ensure proper and accurate record and documentation of case file and ensuring their confidentiality
• Make sure that children with special need are identified and being supported based on their protection concern and ensuring their psychological wellbeing
• Follow up and Report Protection Concern of Children's Monitoring and follow up the social worker's working specifically on identification of other vulnerable children
